That’s easy! I’ve always been a huge bread eater. I can take anything and turn it into a sandwich by placing it in between two slices of bread.
It’s my go-to.
My comfort food.
Since I was young I’ve struggled with my weight, self-image, and anxiety. I’m a self-diagnosed sugar attic who consumed too many carbs and too many sugary sweets.
Why follow me?
I’m a mother, grandmother, cook, and blogger.
I’m not a doctor.
I’ve cared for loved ones with all kinds of illnesses like diabetes, stroke, depression, blindness, open-heart surgery, chemo treatments, Neurofibromatosis, and brain tumors.
I’ve always been the caregiver, the one that took care of everyone till recently. I was diagnosed in March 2021 with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Now I’m the one who needs care.
I’m here to share my story in hopes to connect and inspire others like me.
I would love to hear your story but if you would rather follow along, that’s great too.
